Shallot Extract

Shallot extract (Allium Cepa (Onion) Bulb Extract) comes from a plant in the Alliaceae family, cultivated in Central and Southeast Asia. In Thailand, it’s widely grown in the northern region. It’s a plant with a short, underground stem, reaching about 30 centimeters in height. It blooms during the winter and has a pungent smell. Traditionally, shallots were used to relieve flatulence, bloating, aid digestion, stimulate appetite, reduce edema, and treat various inflammations.
